Sunday XI claim their first win of the season hosting Olney Town cc

Eaton Bray batting first lost 2 quick wickets up top, but the ship was soon steadied by Quinn and Junaid with a 131 partnership which consisted of running a 4 much to Quinn’s disgust. Some late hitting by Syed and Stefan took Eaton Bray to 196/8 off 40 overs

With the small boundaries and quick outfield of the Rye Garden, EB knew their score was chaseable and needed to start strong, and start strong they did! Quinn taking 2 wickets in his first over and Syed with a tidy spell up top saw Olney Town 3 wickets down inside 10 overs.

Eaton Bray's bowling attack taking constant wickets throughout the innings and with a couple of hiccups towards the end eventually bowling Olney Town out for 169 winning by 26 runs
