The Eaton Bray Outlaws will make their debut on Thursday 13th May at The Rye Gardens @ 6pm. In a first for the village club, the new t20 side have their only warm up game against Tring Park Piranhas before they take part in the inaugural Village t20 League on 27th May.
The club opted to enter the league at the 2021 AGM with members excited for the option to play competitive cricket in coloured kit and with pink balls. The club committee settled on the kit colours and the team name - Eaton Bray Outlaws recently as well as appointing Lee Gauntlett as their captain.
On Monday afternoon, Lee Gauntlett announced the first ever Outlaws side to face the Piranhas and added "with 19 quality players available it was hard to leave anyone out for Thursday's game, but with a good mix of youth, talent & experience - I think we have a fantastic chance to out gun the Piranhas and come away with the teams first ever win!'"
he continued "it's going to be a cracking evening at The Rye Gardens, with the bar open and Pies being offered by Zara & her team. It would be great to see as many supporters as possible down at our home of cricket."
